The DAG Sheep Station offers all our guests the chance to dine in a unique environment with an historical backdrop. All functions held at the DAG include our country style catering and hospitality with a licenced bar. All catering is provided by the DAG and includes fresh local produce and the finest quality meats and cuts.
The complex is surrounded by gardens and trees, set against the 110 year old wool shed and Wombramurra Creek meandering by, an ideal setting for your guests to relax and let their hair down. Most functions start with fruit and cheese on our large deck overlooking the rolling golden hills of Nundle, the fire pit and the creek.
Drinks are served from our licenced stone bar, hand built from Wombramurra river rocks, as hard as the men who stacked them. The bar includes a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and the best cappuccinos this side of the Great Dividing Range.
Our lounge bar area includes the original 80 year old mess hall fireplace and camp ovens. Rough sawn exposed timber beams arch overhead and memorabilia from the tough gold and pastoralist years hangs from the walls, above the original timber floors. Dancing in the light of an open fire, intimate country music, hospitality and memorable moments can all be found at the DAG Sheep Station.
